Awarded to: Eshraq Shaer

2021-2024

BERC has provided me with the academic, and technical support, and equipment I needed to produce and complete my thesis. The lab facilities and computer facilities of the Center have been indispensable.

I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Rana Jamous of the Biodiversity and Environmental Research Center (BERC) for her selfless and steadfast encouragement, support, direction, sincerity, and assistance during this work. My sincere gratitude also extends to Miss Salam Abu Zaitoun of BERC for her steadfast direction, technical support, assistance with statistical analysis, and advice in preparing the thesis manuscript. I would also like to thank my BERC colleagues Huda Ali, Eman Sawalmeh, Batool Tuffaha, Hadeel Helal, and Asmahan Hbaisheh, for their encouragement, and friendship.

This study was partially funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Hague, The Netherlands, through grant # 4000004109 to the Biodiversity and Environmental Research Center (BERC).

My sincere thanks also go to BERC for their financial support through the above-mentioned grant.
