Training Courses on the Wild Plants of Palestine

Til, Palestine

Two, 2-day, training courses on wild plants of Palestine were held at BERC, Til, Palestine, in cooperation with AM Alqattan Foundation, on the 28th April, and 4th May 2019. Ninety female students and teachers from Halhoul, Hebron attended (45 from Yarmouk Elementary Girls School, and 50 from Al-Qadisiyah Elementary Girls School). The course comprises: an introduction on plant biodiversity of Palestine, herbarium specimens preparation, plant biological activity screening of medicial plants using Screen-To-Nature (STN) methodology, a guided tour in the BERC-Til Botanic Gardens, and a field trip for collecting plant specimens.
