Strengthening cooperation between the Biodiversity and Environmental Research Center (BERC) and the Palestinian National Agricultural Research Center
As part of the EONANOBIOPS project, which aims to develop eco-friendly nano-biopesticides derived from essential oils to combat tomato pests and diseases and promote sustainable agriculture, the Biodiversity and Environmental Research Center (BERC) held a meeting with the Palestinian National Agricultural Research Center – Ministry of Agriculture.

During the meeting, the participants discussed mechanisms of research cooperation to support farmers, the implementation of joint research experiments, and the promotion of innovation in agricultural pest management. They also explored collaboration in the application of nano-biopesticides for pest control, with both parties seeking to establish a joint cooperation agreement to implement a wide range of research activities in these fields.
The EONANOBIOPS project is funded by the European Union through the Interreg NEXT MED Programme (2021–2027), in partnership with research institutions and universities from Tunisia, Greece, Italy, and Palestine.

تم خلال اللقاء بحث آليات التعاون البحثي لدعم المزارعين، تنفيذ تجارب بحثية مشتركة، وتعزيز الابتكار في إدارة الآفات الزراعية
والتعاون المشترك في مجال استخدام المبيدات الحيوية النانوية في مكافحة الآفات الزراعية، ويسعى الطرفان الى تنظيم اتفاقية تعاون مشترك لتنفيذ العديد من الأنشطة البحثية في المجالات انفة الذكر.
مشروع EONANOBIOPS ينفذ بدعم من الاتحاد الأوروبي من خلال برنامج Interreg NEXT MED (2021–2027) وبشراكة مع مؤسسات بحثية وجامعات من تونس، اليونان، إيطاليا، وفلسطين.
